Cycling Without Age - LutherCare Communities Saskatoon

Cycling Without Age

In 2018, LutherCare Communities launched the first chapter in Saskatchewan of the Cycling Without Age program. Founded in 2012 by Ole Kassow in Denmark, Cycling Without Age was formed with the idea of improving the quality of life for older adults with limited mobility by taking them on recreational bicycle rides. Cycling without age has now grown to over 1,200 chapters worldwide and is active in seven provinces in Canada. As leaders in seniors’ housing, health and community services in Saskatchewan, LutherCare Communities is proud to bring this exciting program to our residents and tenants in our communities.

Volunteer as a 'Pilot'

With the support of volunteer Pilots, these speciality bicycles provide our residents with the opportunity to participate in recreational bicycle rides that have many remarkable benefits. If you are interested in becoming a Pilot with this program, please contact Meghan Ritchie at meghan.ritchie@luthercare.com.
