Mission & Spiritual Care
LutherCare’s Mission & Spiritual Care department provides spiritual and emotional support for residents, family, and Team Members, regardless of religious background or spiritual beliefs. LutherCare offers weekly worship services, prayer support, hymn-sings, hospital and home visitation and a ministry of listening and caring.
Advocate Services
Advocate Services through social workers offers emotional support, solution focused counselling and practical assistance to residents and their families. Along with other Team Members, social workers help with the coordination of services, and can support residents through changes associated with housing transitions, aging, loss, and the possible need for alternate care. Our Advocate Services team facilitates in-house support groups and presents on a variety of topics that are of interest to older adults.
